- Text you enter when requesting a verse (up to 50 characters)
- App preferences such as language selection and widget status
- Identifiers of recently recommended Bible verses
2. How We Use the Information
- We send your input text to the OpenAI Responses API to generate a personalized verse recommendation.
- We store recent recommendations locally so the app and widget can display them and avoid immediate repetition.
- We keep language and preference data to maintain your experience across sessions.
3. Storage and Retention
- Recent recommendations and settings are stored in App Group UserDefaults and are deleted automatically if you uninstall the app.
- Data sent to the OpenAI API is used only to produce the response and is not stored long term within the app.
4. Sharing of Information
- Input text is shared with the OpenAI Responses API solely for recommendation generation.
- We do not provide personal data to any other third parties.
5. Your Choices
- You can remove all locally stored data by deleting the app.
